Pride Boat 2024

It's time to set sail! It's the moment you have all been waiting for, our METRO Pride Boat Party bookings are open!

This year we will be setting sail from Greenwich Pier (Cutty Sark - SE109HT) and taking a two and a half hour trip down the River Thames, arriving at Westminster Pier, ready for an afternoon of Pride in London celebrations!

We are celebrating our 40th Anniversary year in style, with a 'Back to the 80's' theme on-board! Get ready to boogie through four decades of anthems, snap a picture in our fabulous flashback photobooth, and enter our raffle! 80's themed outfits are welcome, but not essential!

We will be departing from Greenwich Pier (Cutty Sark - next to Nando's Greenwich Cutty Sark, and Zizzi Greenwich - SE10 9HT) at 10:00am sharp. Please ensure you arrive between 9:30am-9:45am ready for boarding, as we are unable to wait for any latecomers.

The nearest station to Greenwich (Cutty Sark) Pier is Cutty Sark DLR, which is about a 6 minute walk away.

Central London will be very busy because of Pride in London, so please allow yourself plenty of time to reach the meeting point.

Arriving at Westminster Pier at 12:30pm.

As well as taking in the sights along the Thames, you can enjoy tunes and the onboard licenced bar. Card machines will be available but reception can be flaky, so we recommend bringing some cash along just in case. You cannot bring your own food or drink for consumption aboard, but we can keep these items for you to collect as you leave the boat.

Our Pitstop Plus team will also be on-board, giving out free condoms and lube, freebies, and signing folks up to our free sexual health service!

When purchasing tickets, please fill out the details of each individual passenger as these are required by the boat operator.

Looking for a fabulous outfit to embrace our METRO's Wonderland Land of Oz parade theme in celebration of 40th ruby anniversary? Then why not sign up to our free creative community workshops to create Ozian inspired accessories and costumes that you can wear in this year's parade!

Our two workshops will take place at METRO Lambeth (SE11 6QU) on:

• Friday 10th May 2024: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
• Sunday 9th June 2024: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Both workshops are free to attend, suitable for all ages, have step-free access, and will provide free light refreshments throughout.

Accessibility

There is a ramp to board and leave the boat, providing step-free access to the main deck - this is an enclosed deck with music, a bar and accessible toilet facilities. All other parts of the boat have stairs to access, this includes the open-air top deck.

A quiet space will be available in the basement, down a set of stairs from the main deck. Ear defenders and sensory items will be available.
